Why private mindfulness training may be suitable

We believe that the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course is a highly effective programme not only for learning secular mindfulness meditation.

But it doesn’t always work out that you can get to the Brisbane MBSR course on the days or times that we have.

If you have a work or life schedule that is always changing, for instance you are a busy parent, a shift or fly in fly out worker or you can’t get to the Brisbane MBSR course because you live out of town we also offer private meditation lessons and mindfulness training.



These happen at our Brisbane office or by Skype. The advantage here is that you choose your time and days, and there is flexibility around these.

Private training is a little like MBSR but it is a more personalised service just for you and it tends to directly follow and support any little or big life shifts that you have during our time together. For instance, as the sessions unfold you may learn of a difficult change at work that’s worrying you, or decide that you want to work with difficult thoughts or feelings to do with a situation at home.

While private mindfulness training is not therapy, you may find over time there are many wonderful by-products of learning to meditate including stress reduction, peace of mind and or relief from physical pain or symptoms to be by-products.

The great thing about our private mindfulness training is that should you decide to do MBSR (within a 12 month period after your private work with us) you will receive a special discount for the larger group course.
